CASA BAY VILLAS RENTAL POLICIES** IMPORTANT ** Effective December 31, 2006, the U.S. Government's Intelligence Reform Bill REQUIRES PASSPORTS for all American Citizens traveling by air and sea to or from Mexico, Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda. Deposit for ReservationA Reservation Deposit of 50% of your total accommodation is due within 5 business days after you receive your confirmation of your reservation via email. You will receive a confirmation via email within 24 hours of making your reservation. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you an Information Packet which will include a Rental Agreement, Waiver of Responsibility, Arrival Information, Menu Selections, Transfer Options and general information on the villa. If a reservation is made 60 days or less prior to arrival, Casa Bay Villas requires full payment of rental fee to confirm your reservation request.Final PaymentFinal payment on your reservation is due 60 days prior to travel date. For Christmas reservations, final payment is due 90 days prior to arrival in Puerto Vallarta. Security DepositAll villa properties request a refundable security deposit of $500 to $1000 USD. CancellationsReservations will be cancelled if deposits are not received within 5 days of initial request. Casa Bay Villas reserves the right to treat any confirmed booking as cancelled if deposit schedules are not met. NO REFUND FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS RENTALS. An extension may be requested. If it is necessary for you to cancel after final payment is due, Casa Bay Villas will attempt to re-rent the villa for the entire period of the original booking. If the property is fully re-rented a refund will be made, less a cancellation charge. Partial re-rentals or rentals obtained at a lesser rate will be refunded in the amount of the re-rental less cancellation charge. All cancellations must be in writing.Trip InsuranceTrip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended and is available through www.AccessAmerica.com or your travel agency.Availability of AccommodationsIn the event any property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of Casa Bay Villas after a deposit is received, Casa Bay Villas will have the option of moving the reservation to a similar property. If this is unsatisfactory to the guests, Casa Bay Villas will refund the deposit in full.Villa OccupantsMost villas have a policy of a maximum number of guests equal to 2 persons per bedroom. Maximum number of persons means adults and children regardless of age. The maximum number of guests will be confirmed on your rental agreement. If more people arrive than allowed, they may be denied occupancy or an extra person charge of $50 USD per person, per night will apply. Tenants occupying the property will be responsible for any damages caused by themselves or their guests, to the property, or its contents during their stay. Costs for damage, will be limited to repairs or replacement value of items(s) damaged. Unlawful activities will not be tolerated and noise curfews affecting nearby properties will be enforced.Pet PolicyNo pets will be allowed in the rental property without written permission prior to arrival.
