Vidanta Forum held last month in Neuvo Vallarta attended by Gwyneth Paltrow and Brook Shield
A new summit called the Vidanta Forum that brings together some of the greatest international figures and minds together from the tourism industry and other areas was hosted last month by the Vidanta Foundation in Nuevo Vallarta – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The 3/days conference was held at the Grand Vidanta Convention Center. The conference was aimed to discuss key social issued and propel economic development in Mexico.
Two Hollywood celebrities and activists Gwyneth Paltrow (Academy Award and Golden Globe winner) and Brooke Shields attended the event and gave a talk alongside Iván Chávez about travel, tourism, and lifestyle.
Vice President of Grupo Vidanta said in his speech “We are conscious of the impact that tourism has on the development of Mexico. Through the Vidanta Foundation, it is our priority to generate a dialogue with worldwide leaders that will allow us to learn about the global trends and the best practices to create a solid path toward innovation,”
As an Ambassador for the non-profit charity Save the Children, Ms. Paltrow also is a board member for the Robin Hood Foundation which aims to eradicate poverty in the New York area.
Ms. Brook Shields works with international charities Healthy Child Healthy World, AIDS Life and Listen to Campaign.
