Every year, the factory produces a large amount of tequila, which is also being exported. Surprisingly, the volume produced is about 200,000 to 280,000 liters per day. Tequila, of two types are produced in the town. The first one is pure agave, having the sugar comparatively more than the other, because of manufacturing by the Tequilana Weber Blue variety.
According to Lopez, if the sugar is obtained from another source, like from sugar cane, the tequila will be in the proportion of 51-49. Hence, the process of manufacturing of tequila has made the town, the best place where to vacation in Mexico.
