Puerto Vallarta to Expand Airport, Add Connections
The Puerto Vallarta International Airport transports nearly five million passengers a year and offers flights to more than 50 destinations around the world including Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, and Helsinki.
A new airport expansion made by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (GAP) is part of the Master Development Plan for the 2015-2019
New upgrades at the Puerto Vallarta airport coming in December include new routes that connect Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit with the rest of Latin America, a new International VIP Lounge and improved connectivity via access to free wireless Internet networks.
Raul Revuelta, the General Director of GAP, said in a statement recently passengers will enjoy their travel experience with a new terminal building that will span more than 200,000 square feet and include five new jet-ways and six security lines and will include more space, excellent services, and commercial areas. Revuelta added we seek to contribute to the economic and tourist development of the States of Jalisco and Nayarit, offering better service and image to Mexicans and foreigners who visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
