Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Once again the extraordinary culinary event “For the Love of Garlic and Mangos” festival will be the featured at the River Café known for its exquisite cuisine. Every summer, for 30 days from July 11 through July 31st residents Foodies and visitor’s to Puerto Vallarta will enjoy delicious Mango Fruit Entrees.
For only $490 pesos per person (beverages and gratuity are not included) you will enjoy a collection of sweet and savory dishes that will combine the oldest cultivated foods and of course the king of fruits “The Mango” in a special four-course menu that surely will tantalize your taste buds.
Overlooking the famous Cuale River in downtown Puerto Vallarta….sit back, relax and indulge with your favorite glass of wine or distilled spirits as your senses enjoy the sounds of nature, live music as you contemplate which of the four outstanding “For the Love of Garlic and Mangos” food selections on their gourmet menu you will select for dinner. For the Table
An Amuse Bouche of garlic confit with mango chutney and bell pepper served with plain crostini captures the essence of the festival. As you spread the warm, roasted garlic on top of freshly baked crostini then spoon over the slightly spicy mango chutney, you’ll begin to understand why this one-of-a-kind dining experience is such a highly-anticipated annual event.

- Double Garlic Cream Soup with potato and chipotle aioli
• Sweet and Savory Shrimp Salad with mango and cumin
Main Course Alternatives
- Surf and Turf Brochette: beef fillet and shrimp brochettes, served with fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes, and garlic butter
- Garlic Penne Pasta: with roasted garlic, pancetta and green peas in creamy garlic sauce
- Grilled Chicken Breast: with vegetable quinoa topped with mango-ming marmalade
